6:00am: Sunrise Ceremony
Led by Algonquin Elder Ada Tinney

Where: Faraday Community Centre -13 Lower Faraday Road and Hwy 28 S.
Notes: Dress for cool morning air, bring a chair, your drums, rattles & voices to join the celebration.
Shawashkong Ikwe Singers will also share some of their songs! EVERYONE WELCOME!

10:00am: Solstice Celebration
Hosted by Hastings Trails

Where: Bird’s Creek Park – 160-168 S Baptiste Lake Rd, Bancroft, ON
Notes: Join us for smudging and prayer, drumming, singing, story telling and crafts.

1:00pm: Celebration & Feast
Hosted by the Algonquin Inòdewiziwin EarlyON Child & Family Centre in partnership with Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini Algonquin First Nation

Where: Eagles Nest Park – Eagles Nest Park Road, Bancroft
Notes: We politely request that women wear skirts to honour Anishinaabeg tradition.
Please bring your feast kit (reusable plate, bowl, utensils and cup). A very special thank you to the youth volunteers of North Hastings.
